About

Built by a med student, for med students.

ROUNDS is a small collection of clinical calculators — the ones med students actually reach for on the wards: renal dosing, severity scores, fluid maintenance, and a handful of others. No sign-up, no app to install, just quick numbers when you need them between patients.

Why it exists

Most clinical calculator sites are built for practicing clinicians and packed with more tools than a student needs. ROUNDS keeps the list short and the formulas visible, so it's also useful while you're still learning what each score actually means.

A note on accuracy

Formulas are based on standard, widely-taught references (Cockcroft-Gault, Mosteller, CURB-65, Wells, APGAR, Holliday-Segar). ROUNDS is an educational and reference tool only — it does not replace clinical judgment, your institution's protocols, or a licensed clinician's assessment. Always double-check against your local lab reference ranges.
